Alec Lehrman

Alec Lehrman was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1989. Shortly after, his family relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Alec began playing the guitar and singing when he was 12 years old, and by the time he was 16, he was gigging on the local scene of Minneapolis.

When he was 18, Alec attended the University of Madison, Wisconsin. He obtained a B.A. in Mathematics as well as a B.A. in Political Science.

During this time, he was mentored by bassist Richard Davis (Eric Dolphy, Miles Davis, John Coltrane).

After Alec graduated, he moved to Chicago to pursue his dream of being a musician. Alec is currently located in Chicago and is a full-time songwriter/guitar/singer/producer.

Alec has experience in national and international touring. He has worked with artists and producers like JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound, Caleb Hawley, Isaiah Sharkey, Steven Gillis, Sean O'Keefe, and many more.

He has appeared in two movies, including "When Jeff Tried To Save the World" (with stars Jon Heder of Napoleon Dynamite) and "Canal Street"(with stars Woody McClain and Lance Reddick).

Alec's music can be found on Spotify and iTunes.
